Description of Workshop: 

This intensive workshop is conducted over three days and offers a complete training for researchers who wish to develop high level of skills in how to prepare, develop, write and submit a scholarly paper for publication, including bibliometrics and publishing ethics. Furthermore, it will give an in-depth understanding and practice of how to review a scholarly paper which has been submitted to a journal for publication.

Interactions during this workshop will be in English.

Audience: 

PhDs, faculty, researchers, post graduates, pharmacists, librarians.

Conditions of selection: 

The workshop has a maximum capacity of 25 participants, and it will be of most value to those who already have some experience in writing a paper or who are about to start doing so. However, prior experience is not absolutely required.

IMPORTANT: If you register for the workshop, please be aware that this is a full-time commitment, and you will not have time for other meetings or engagements during the workshop hours. You will fully benefit from this workshop if you attend the whole session.

Prof. Nello Spiteri is an international publishing consultant to scientific, technical and medical publishers as well as professional academic and medical societies, pharmaceutical companies, institutions of higher education and government agencies associated with research, health care and education. He is innovative and highly creative and has a deep understanding of the STM publishing business as he worked over 32 years in STM publishing.He uses his experience to develop and implement new strategies, products and services that deliver outstanding scientific and business value. His skills are in developing strategies and business solutions for professional societies, developing and implementing new strategies for STM publishing in emerging markets, in particular the MENA region. In addition, he is an energetic coach, trainer and manager.

Participant registration is confirmed upon receipt of registration form and payment. 

Group discounts

We offer a group discount of 10% off  the registration fee for 4 or more participants. All participants much register together and only one invoice will be issued. These discounts cannot be combined with any other discount rate (e.g. Early Bird Rate). Early bird rate condition 

In order to obtain the Early Bird Rate, we must be in receipt of your full workshop registration form and fee no later than Oct 15, 2015.

Payment deadlines

Early bird fees must be submitted no later than October 15, 2015.

Other payments must be submitted no later than November 14, 2015.

Cancellation policy

We regret to inform that there is no refund for cancellations/postponement once the registration is confirmed.
